How to use this

Gopher is the AI built into FL Studio 2026. Open it, tell it what you want, it goes and does it in your project.
1
Open Gopher. Click the window icon in the toolbar, open the Gopher tab, and pin it so it stays on the right while you work.
2
Copy a prompt. Tap COPY on any card below, paste it into Gopher, and swap my example names for your own.
3
Approve access. First time it needs into your project you get an Approve or Deny popup. Hit Approve and it runs.
4
Stack them. Chain a few commands into one message. That is where the real time save lives. See the combos below.

Talk to it like a producer

Gopher gets our language. It knows four on the floor, it knows two and four. Say it how you would say it to a friend in the studio and it usually gets it.

"Mute tracks 1 to 5"
"Solo track 1"

Plugins, Piano roll & Playlist

Plugin ParamsDepends what the plugin publishes
"Set the reverb Mix in FLEX to 100%"
Native plugins work best. Not every plugin exposes every knob to FL Studio.
Piano RollNotes, quantize & scripts
"Quantize notes"
"Run Note octaver piano roll script"
"Create a script to randomize the octaves of notes in the Piano roll"
The sleeper feature. Gopher writes scripts to do custom moves on your notes. Ask in plain words.
PlaylistName and color your arrangement
"Rename Playlist tracks 1 to 5: drums, percussion, bass, guitar, synth"
"Match Playlist tracks 1 to 5 to Channel Rack channels 1 to 5"
Instant organized playlist that mirrors your rack.

Power combos (stack & save)

Chain several commands into one message and let Gopher run the whole chore. Copy, tweak the names, send.

Instant Beat Skeleton

Lays a starting groove across three channels in one shot.
"Add a 4 by 4 pattern to the Kick channel, add a 2 and 4 pattern to the Snare, and give the hi-hats an upbeat pattern. Then start playback."

Mixer Setup In One Message

Names, routes, and colors so you can start mixing instead of admin.
"Route 808 Kick to Mixer track 7, rename Mixer track 7 to 808 Bass, turn Mixer track 7 blue, and set its level to 50%."

Clean Slate Reset

When a template is cluttered and you want a fresh board.
"Reset Mixer tracks 3, 7 and 11, remove all plugins from track 2, and unmute all tracks."

Playlist Mirror

A tidy arrangement that matches your rack, named and colored.
"Match the names of Playlist tracks 1 to 5 to the Channel Rack channels 1 to 5, then color code them to match."

What it can't do yet

Gopher is experimental and Image-Line is adding to it fast. These hit a wall right now, so do not waste time fighting them.

× Undo

It can build a pattern but cannot trigger FL Studio's undo yet. Ctrl+Z is still on you.

× Stem separation

Cannot split stems from audio. Use the Remix a Song tab or stem splitter.

× Generic bleeding

Cannot batch declick clips yet. This one would be a game changer.

× Full generative beats

Builds patterns from your instructions, not a finished song from nothing. You bring the idea.

Get more out of it

1
Pin the tab. Keep Gopher open on the right panel so it is one click away.
2
Be specific. Name the exact track, channel, or number. Vague prompts get vague results.
3
Use our slang. Four on the floor, two and four, upbeat. It speaks producer.
4
Save your winners. When a combo nails it, keep it in a notes file and paste it every session.
5
Lean on it for grunt work. Naming, routing, coloring, resetting. Let it handle the tedious 30-track stuff.

Now go make FL do the work.

Steal these, tweak them, and let Gopher clear the boring stuff off your plate. The faster you get through setup, the more time you spend actually making beats. That is the whole point.
